Korean Listening Practice
If you want to practice your Korean Listening skills, watch this video.
You will listen to each dialogue 4 times.
1. Just audio without text
Try not to panic, concentrate and just listen and understand what is being said.
2. Audio + text
Listen to audio and look at text in Korean.
Look at the text and check if you understood the speech correctly when you listened to it for the first time.
Also, if you are in doubt whether you have read or heard the audio correctly, you can check it in the Latin text on the right side.
(I am not using the standard romanization rules because instead of making it easier to learn and understand Korean, they are rather confusing.)

If there was a vowel at the end of the noun can we use 이면서 commonly?
amazing. i love it very much. Thank you!
Excuse me. Although I am a TOPIK6 Korean student, I still have to ask the following question to be sure: 학교를 떠나다 학교를 가다 구름 위를 비행기가 날다 By observing these sentences, we can tell 를 seems to be more than just an accusative case marker bc it’s clearly functioning respectively as an ablative case, an allative case and a locative case marker, can’t you agree?
good day mam i have a hard time when writing i dont know when to use ㅜ,ㅗ and ㅠ,ㅛ how can i know the right vowel for the Sentence or word that i want to write ?
Im having a hard time on this, i feel sad.
Mahiley ley ta kehi bujinA k vaneko ho
C’est tellement une belle leçon détaillée. Les instructions sont vraiment claires. C’est un guide parfait pour le 받침. Un énorme merci!
They sound similar 😢
Thanks
hey everybody lets watch at least 30 secs of the ads to support 우리 선생님 💛
This is so helpful. So please upload more video. Thank you so much, I love your channel❤
This is very helpful my exam thanks a lot❤🎉
Mam you are a good and best korean teacher I have ever looked..❤❤
I think I understood it correctly, but if I did then pretty much all other resources explained it very poorly. Topic markers are just a way to say: "As for the/ regarding the..." in combination with a noun and subject markers are a way to emphasize the subject. For example: "Who likes the coffee? I like the coffee!" (subject marker) "What about the breakfast, did you like it? As for the coffee, I liked it!" (topic marker)
Hello mam... Mam I have a problem.. I have watched this video 2 times, but still I am not able to do homework.. Please help me..😢😢
Or any other can help..please..
This was very helpful. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I love your videos! I am learning so much 🤯 this one's gonna require so much pratice tho, do you guys know if there's a resource we can practice reading words with these rules?
Thanks you so much.
Thank you😊😊
Thanks for the lessons!
사랑해요 pronounce as 사랑애유 or 사라애요?
When ㄹ(L) is followed by ㄹ(R), ㄹ(R) is pronounce as ㄹ(L). If this correct, I haven't seen on your video.
hi, i asked a question here before but i now have another one because i have not been able to find any answers for it online. if a ㄹ is the bottom consonant and a ㅎ is the beginning of the next syllable, take 실헌 for example, is the ㄹ pronounced more like an L or an R? i know when the next syllable starts with a consonant, the ㄹ just has an L sound, but because ㅎ's are mostly silent or barely noticeable, does this make it make an R sound instead?
How would i write "Essi"? 에씨 would be Esshi and 엣시 would be Etsi, right? So how do i write Essi? Also, how do i write"Roosa" the best i could think of is 로사 but thats Rosa....🥲
Do the writing rules really matter tho? Its not like i follow english writing rules either lol, as long as the letter looks correct Anyway, great video! I already feel good about your channel and i really think your videos will be helpful!❤
These lessons do work. I'm recognizing what I'm hearing more and more. Thank you so much! ♥
Wow, these rules are way more complicated than i thought! Theres so many exceptions, i dont think i'll remember everything🥲 i fear it may be more difficult than learning english because atleast english has a similar alphabet to my native language so it was easier to listen and read at the same time......
even though its widely believed that chinese and japanese are harder languages to learn, i feel like personally korean was much more difficult for me to learn than both chinese and japanese
Tip: If you hit transcript button, it will give you the hangul texts!
9:49 🥲🥲 won’t be able to wake up for school tomorrow. Learning Hangul rules at 12:20am 🥹🫶🏻
Best video I have seen! Don't expect to learn at once as the instructor says. This video has to be seen more than once.
Is it me or anyone else is bewildered by the name Anry/i (?????) and Henry...? Are they relative? What's going on? ////
Two other well know Korean teachers on RUclips say that at the start of a word *ㄹ* should be pronounced more like a *L* sound??
덥다 in the list of words as rpto close and then 덮으세요? A lil mistake i suppose, still a great video, thanks!
To me this is one of the best videos on the Korean Language I have ever seen. It seems like all the instructors will say, (Any one can learn Hungal in two hours.) Well the Devil is in the Details and this video does an awesome job at details!
Totally agree!
I have a question: is the only difference between 이에요 and 입니다, politeness? Does A는 B이에요 mean the same as A는 B입니다?
Yes

thank you so muchhhh i love how you explain this my dream is to live in korea and and be a like a scientest that studys about medical deasises but 🥲🥲 my family and friends say stop being silly and most of the time i ave to study this at night and this breaks my heart but i will always try my best and thats why i love your content ❤❤❤
Hello!~ I am glad you find this content helpful. It's not silly : ) There are hundreds of foreign students in Korea who study for free. And you don't need to be a genius for that. But since you mentioned medical field, I decided to reply so that you don't potentially waste your time. I don't know exactly what you want to learn, but as far as I know, as a foreigner, you are not allowed to learn medicine in Korea, like cannot get physician degree in Korea. You can learn Nursing for sure. Also, something like Biology. But cannot become, let's say, a surgeon, dentist, and so on. So, I would recommend you 1. Search on Google, top 10 Korean universities. 2. Contact a few of them and ask, if you can learn there what you want to learn. Usually they reply really fast. Within a few hours to one-two days. 2.1 Go to English version of their website -> Admissions -> next section varies from university to university, but search for something like Undergraduate (which is Bachelors Degree) or Graduate (which is Master's Degree) -> Application (here you will find their email address) 3. If they say you can apply, next check Scholarships section on their website. And feel free to ask them as many questions as you have, sending multiple emails. Don't feel shy. It's their job and they are happy to answer and to see that someone is interested in their university. 4. Study hard and prepare yourself for that Scholarship. It may take 2-3 years of hard work but it's possible. Also, if these universities don't cover 100% expenses, check out this scholarships: KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program), Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation, POSCO Scholarship. KGSP is run every year. They pick 2-3 students from each country every year. You should apply through Korean Embassy in your country. They cover every expenses (tuition fee + give monthly allowance which is more than enough for food, books, dormitory, clothes + two way ticket to Korea and back to your home once you complete your studies) The easiest way though is to be accepted by a University first, and then ask them to recommend you for KGSP. Application for KGSP is free. You only need to spend some money for your documents translation into English, some apostille and notary fees. Application directly to universities will cost you around $100 + documents shipping fee. Never ever send your original diploma, even though on their website they state that you must send original document. They will not return it. Send only notarized and apostille copy of your school certificates / diplomas. ---------- Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation usually start sponsoring only from the second semester. But somehow some students get it even before their first semester. I don't know how they do it though. ---------- POSCO is difficult to get and it's for Masters degree mainly. ---------- If.... if... Korean universities will reply that as a foreigner you cannot study what you want to study, you can pick other country. For Medical field, probably Germany is a good option. But you need to learn German language. Check DAAD Scholarship. Also, do some research about Stanford University, Harvard. It's very difficult to get into such universities but if you are lucky to get in, they will give you 100% scholarship. You won't pay for tuition fee at all. Usually people from developing countries study for free in Stanford and Harvard. Maybe you can also consider China... China also provides Government scholarships. Singapore is also good in medicine, but I don't think they provide any scholarships. I may be wrong though. Probably Japan has some options. Chose only those universities where they teach 100% in English. Maybe Russia too. It's also 100% free. They have government scholarships. -------- I hope this information helped you. Good luck with your dream! Don't let others discourage you : )

Thank you for this video. Starting off trying to learn Hangul confused me because these sounds would always sound different whenever people would give examples and I finally know why. Love this channel.
